New VTRAN 8.1 Release

Source III announces the release of VTRAN 8.1 for the Solaris, Linux and HPUX platforms.

This new release continues our commitment to timely and continuous product improvements in response to the ever-changing needs of our customers. Featured in this release are the following:

• Improvements in the TEMPLATE_CYCLIZATION algorithms
• Support for Advantest ReadBack providing a verification path for VTRAN-generated Advantest (T3300/T6600) test programs
• A new WGL and STIL-based flow for automated insertion of Q-Star Test Ixxx module control for support of their family of IDD test and verification products.
• Enhanced WGL writer with support for scan data, and the Repeat_Threshold feature.
• Added a new Loop_Threshold feature to all cycle-based writers (WGL, STIL, testers)
• Enhanced support for FLEX+ tester to handle scan data and Dual Mode.
• Enhanced support for User Defined Format with $TSET keyword.

In addition to these highlights, VTRAN has had on-going improvements to its speed, memory efficiency and overall program quality. VTRAN has played an important roll in linking simulation/ATPG to test for over 18 years with thousands of successful vector translations.
